Make it in the fashion industry

im 13 years old and have been in love with fashion for about my whole life. Ive made a messenger bag already for high school, and im taking this class with a fashion designer :) So im still not there yet, but im on my way!

This past weekend their was an Arts and Crafts show, and I sold three items! Well…actually 6, but 1 was after the show and 2 haven’t actually received their item! But still, it feels like such a great success!! :) It gives me much more confidence that I may just make it…

I just simply want to learn everything I can about fashion and sewing, so I can make it in the industry…I think I’m off to a fairly good headstart. I self-taught myself for the past 2 years, and in a couple weeks I’ll be going to a week-long class to learn so much more. My work now is okay, but I do believe I can and will do better. Fashion design has been a strong dream of mine for two years now…let’s hope it turns out well…
