Tammy is blooming where I'm planted!
How I did it: I'm lucky that I live just an hour or so from my favorite place to camp. Not often do I have the opportunity to be spontaneous, but since my favorite place to unwind and recenter is so close...I can just take off to escape the pressures of life when they start closing in. How I did it: Heeding advice from another contributor here, I borrowed all the gear first and went to a camping ground that had facilities available (toilets, stoves, showers etc.) - thank god because most of the equipment went faulty. It was so much fun just hanging out and chatting. Make sure there is plenty of spending money because chances are you will want to pig out and spend luxuriously while visiting X destination; it's all about freedom. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Went with some friends to Turner Falls in Davis Oklahoma. It was a blast! I should have gone years ago but my parents would never let me because I was so young.. and they were so overprotective. haha Read how I did it…

How I did it: Aaron and I decided to get away from the daily grind. We looked up some parks on the internet and just went with what looked good. We ended up in Arkansas. It was only 3.5 hour drive. We spent 3 days there. Saw a gator and a fawn. We rented water bikes (since we weren't getting in the same lake where we saw the gator). We hike on the trail a couple times and just enjoyed the outdoors. Read how I did it…

my Man will take me to go camping this fall :) i think he’s brave to take me, being that i’m not the swiftest creature and i’m not big into the outdoors, but it means a lot to me!

this is one of those goals I can’t see happening for such a long time I feel I should take it off the list. I can’t see myself doing it alone, have no-one to go with, have no clue how to do it and don’t have a tent or transport. Yet another of the things I’d dearly love to do in life but don’t because I have no-one to do it with =(
i like going camping. i want to go to the place with an outdoor pool. it’s a nice place, and i can make smores.

My best friend E and his friends from high school usually go on a camping trip during the summer. I’m planning to go with them. Should be fun. We have yet to set up a date though.

i had a little day trip to an island near the city and just standing on the beach i had so many fond memories of being in the wilderness. it would be nice to do that again. its been years since ive gone. i just need to find people to go with me.
lucyann2 likes to rock the party
and every summer it never quite happens. Well, not since 2005 anyway. Maybe this year? I feel galvanised to do this after spending most of last weekend on windy beaches in Northumberland getting out of breath, chilly and tearful about my “homeland”. I just want to get back to nature for a bit… although I will need to waterproof my tent first…
Going The last weekend in May with the BF and my best friend and her BF. So excited! The BF and I went to my parents yesterday and raided their camping supplies.
