Yep, that’s me kayaking up above….I went out on a tandem kayak last Saturday for the 2nd time, right around sunset. I could see the Olympic Mountains, Mount Rainier, and downtown Seattle. I love the rhytmic feeling of my oars dipping in and out of water-water that varies from opaque aqua green to almost black- as we glide across the Sound. I feel like I could row and row. It is peaceful. I decided last night to enroll in a class where I paddle a single kayak and learn more about safety & water techniques. There is a class opening up in September.
I have kayaked, but now I want to learn to kayak. 2 years ago
