Read the Silmarillion

This is one of the best books I have ever read.

Reading about Beren & Luthien worth reading all the weak parts.

Truly so.

I really wanna to read this book, but I have it on russian, I’m really good at russian, but I want to read in english, plz somebody tell me website, where I can read it on english :P

I started The Silmarillion when I was 14 but only got half way through. Now (4 years later) I am on the last chapter and can’t put it down. In the back of my mind all these years I knew I had to reread it. Finally I have and am blown away. It is beautiful and makes perfect sense, how I would love to live in Lorien….

I have yet to finish Return of the King. I’ll have to start over since I don’t remember where I was.

I have started reading it several times but life intervenes. Especially I want to learn about Akalabeth, Lady of the Stars, because years ago at a Ren fair I bought a batik picture of the lady of the stars from the Silmarillion. .

I’ve had this on my list for ages. I tried, but somehow the book doesn’t grab my ass, so why force myself to read something I obviously don’t want to read?
