there are a few recipes that I need some clarity on words, and then to give the scanned recipes to fidgie after that.

Last Summer Fidgie and I got out hands on our family recipe book. There’s only a small number of recipes in there, but I think it was most of what we wanted to find. I also wrote down two recipes that our Grandma’s told us that day. Finally, I scanned in the recipes today!

Cook beef, potatoes and cube. Make gravy from beef juice or buy jar gravy. I suppose a cookbook tells how to make gravy.
Put this mixture in a cake pan or casserole dish . . . over the top, place baking powder biscuit dough (consult any basic cookbook). Make sure they are not too high or they will end up like a tall biscuit rather than a thick crust. Bake the whole thing for as long as biscuit recipe calls for.
Voila! Meat pie!

I am going to my parents’ this weekend and my Grammy is visiting. I will ask her to write down some of my favorite recipes: meat pie, chicken pot pie, Waldorf salad. Then they can go in my new recipe collection
