We talked over an hour about her divorce. It’s crazy how ugly things can get once a man stops loving a woman. I wouldn’t expect that marriage to end up so quickly and leave them so bitter and resentful. I hope talking to me helped her. The kids took the news surprisingly well. They are only 7 and 9 still. I wonder if they get the finality of all if it. I hope they continue staying strong. 10 months ago

today and still need to call the kids. Now that parents are away on a 2 week vacation, grandma is all alone. She was so happy to talk to me and genuinely cheered up. It felt good! 14 months ago

I got some awesome news – the kids will be coming (probably!) to visit us this year. I’m so thrilled although a bit worried. It’s a mix of emotions but it’s probably because right now I feeling so vulnerable and low. I am afraid their mom will notice it. Need to be more positive and grateful! 15 months ago
