declare June Pet Shop Boys Month

Every month is Pet Shop Boys month.

I believe I accomplished this as well as possible, considering my only two cds of Pet Shop boys are not with me at the present moment!!! This goal had reminded me of how much I’ve missed this music, so I’ve gone and ordered Fundamentalism: Deluxe Edition online here. Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe’s voices are just so distinctive, as are their beats, and now I can appreciate it without having to wait a few months! : )

I feel kind of bad because I joined this team because I love the pet shop boys but didn’t really follow thru on it! Sorry team! June has been a nightmare of a month. Next year I promise to make good on this one! Sounds like everyone else really enjoyed it though : )

However, not only for listening to some of my old Pet Shop Boys CDs (and ripping them to mp3 files) but also inspiring me to rip other CDs, especially ones from the same timeframe, like Erasure…

...it’s a great way to start (or end, or get through) the day!

It’s on the PSB site, not on the Paramount’s calendar yet though. OMG! First time they’ve ever played Seattle :) Can’t WAIT!

Pet Shop Boys month helped motivate me to get this done… Now if only I had my home theater set up, I could list to them… (I actually can… but it would be better if I had a whole house integrated system, of course).

Now, just to get my other CDs ripped, if we could only have ABC Month, Police Month, Dead or Alive Month, Bronski Beat Month, T-4-2 Month, Simply Red Month, Blow Monkeys Month, Tears for Fears Month, Spandeau Ballet Month, OMD Month, Yaz Month, Erasure Month … and a few hundred more, then I would complete my goal of creating mp3 files from all my CDs…!!
