Threetimesthree hanging by a thread but working at it
...tomorrow! Which means an all-nighter for me… Better not fall asleep writing it. Handing this report late is not an option, not when I was given so much time for it, not when all involved parties have been so patient with me… It’s gonna be done and it’s gonna be good!
TheUnholyMint is shooting to kill.
Since I spent most of the last academic year lounging on couches and drooling [metaphorically], I think I need to make an effort this year… as the Jolly Hockysticks people say: pull my socks up and get my butt in gear.
After much rooting around, my grandma presented me with a funky leatherbound diary, with an ornate clasp. It has 1995 written on it, but it’s still good as new. So, anyway, my aim is to write down everything I need to do on those pages.
I think it’d be a good idea to merge everything… rather than having a seperate diary for schoolwork, another for birthdays, etc.
And I shall keep it by my bed, and consult it first thing every morning, and update it the last thing before I go to bed.
And nevermore shall I realise it was my best friend’s birthday 6 days after the fact. Or have to pretend my computer is programmed to crash every year around coursework season.

1st of May – some proofreading & editing, and a bit of writing by myself.
15th May – the book. Almost finished.
15th June – another book translation. 1/6 is done (OK, it’s just a draft), and it’s easy.
It’s usually at the last possible moment, but so far I can’t think of any important deadlines I’ve missed since last year. I’ve finally mastered the juggling!
kurkulis is back
...is the day.
18th April would be acceptable, too.
Still it is highly unlikely.

By this I mean not only actual deadlines, the whooshing sound they make as they fly by, but also replaying to e-mail messages and so on. I can see the stupid reasons why I’m delaying things, but it does’n really help.
