save money for Cuba

As of tomorrows paycheque I am standing at 85% of this months goal. I keep thinking I should pay off my credit card or other debts but if I use my money for that I’ll never get anything saved which is what happened before.
I might have to leave the country earlier than thought when I have creditors trying to hunt me down!

Let’s see if I can reach $2000 by the end of this month…

Drum roll please… I currently stand at 86.67% of my goal. I have managed to save $800 so far this month. That is pretty damn impressive if I so say so myself.

I am not sure if I am going to reach my end of June goal but it will be close! I have reached 73.3% of June’s goal and I have a minute paycheque due to me this Thursday so maybe I can… if my tips would pick up I’d be doing a lot better last night I earned a whole quarter during a 3 hour shift. It kinda makes me sick to my stomach to think about that…

I took on another job to be able to fund a decent trip back to Cuba. I went for two weeks this year after living there through the 2002-2003 school year and two weeks is not enough. I miss my family and friends there so much and I am thiking of them everyday (or at least sun-wed from 9 till 12:30 when I am earning 7 bucks an hour towards seeing them again). The ticket alone will be about $1000 CDN since I plan on going either the 1st of dec or jan and will need to fly through Toronto. I can do it, just keep thinking that its 35 degrees there and how happy I will be!
