I’ve been walking to work for over three weeks now. I’ve noticed a certain amount of increase in my cardiovascular fitness.
The difficulty with this is that while it is a good way to get back into exercise, it’s difficult to measure progress in any meaningful way. It’s the same activity repeated. It doesn’t get faster, and I don’t encounter more resistance. But that’s the way I want it.
Soon I’m going to sit down and plan some other exercise goals.
