divorce gracefully by july 16, 2006

so i guess the clock starts there.

i had contact with the lawyer last week who said i need to do this myself or cut ties with them. so… while it made economical sense to cut ties, i went for the “i want to protect myself for the future” route and they are now drafting everything.

now it’s my divorce – not his. why do the order of the words matter so much?

i want to change my thing to “divorce gracefully… and quickly.”

we separated two months past our seventh anniversary. at this rate we’ll file and not be done till after our eighth. yar.

now i need to do edits and get back to lawyer for his final edits and then back to estranged to file and we’re sixty days from done!

it just feels better and righter.
