My kids rarely get diaper rashes now and it is a cost saver, plus it is better for the environment! YAY! Not to mention they just look adorable with their little cloth diapered butts.

How I did it: I just was very committed, even when I didn't have a washer and/or a drier. One of my children only had one plastic diaper on his whole childhood- when we left him with a friend on the way to the ER with another family member. I was just very determined to buy as few disposable diaper as possible. I finally got my BumGenius twelve-pack so I think I am on my way to becoming a cloth diaper genius. We’ll see how it goes. So far, so good. I realize that I need to get another liner and possibly a pail (I am trying the Diaper Champ first since I already have it). I am putting together a wipe mix with lavender, caledula, and chamomile. Hoorah.
