finish my album

OK so I have done Strange.. Strange to think that it has taken so long to get this far.. a slow process full of pitfalls which really didn’t need to be there, but hey ho.. I will be glad to complete it!
One more track..

Thankful for small mercies, Jon recovered from his serious illness and ready willing and able to work on Lovely Out Here.. Will send him one track at a time from now on..

I am so excited to get this project finished and packaged, I have 7 complete songs and 1 more almost finished. I am proud of the accomplishments I have made so far in such a small amount of time and I am excited to start fresh and work with different instruments and styles.

I’ve been working on it for a little over a year. I love the songs, I love working on the songs. I’m at the point of vocals and I’ll continue to tweak the music here and there. I’m self produced and I work on a macbook. The whole experience has been a lot of fun as I’ve learned so much about myself as an artist. Making the decision to produce the album myself really pushed me to put all my ideas in action. So far, it is rewarding BUT I do believe I want to finish now. I’ve had several phases of working; work for a month then put it aside for a month (or two).....I’m going to start working this week and I hope it is the last, or second to last phase.

I have everything down and every have recorded rough demos of most of the songs for my album on my macbook. I go into the studio in like 2 months. I’m so psyched. I’ve put out a downloadable EP on my own, but the quality isn’t great… still it’s really considering that was completely down on my macbook using just the little mic that you use when you’re video chatting.

I have like an hour and a half of songs, and I feel like most of them suck. They all need to be mastered too. I also want to redo like 5 of them. I’m a perfectionist, and it’s hard to say something is finished when I hear all these flaws. Electronic music is tedious.

MAY NEVER HAPPEN … BUT I’VE BEEN WORKING ON IT FOR YEARS, BUT HAVE HAD LESS AND LESS TIME FOR RECORDING … ONE DAY, JUST FOR MYSELF

Wow, I still haven’t really gotten any further. But I’m working on two other ones, so I’m very optimistic :P
And I MIGHT HAVE A FREAKING SHOW BEFORE CHRISTMAS! :D

Yay, I’m pretty close to finishing up my third song.
The 11 others are all written, but not perfectly worked out… so that will be my next task ^^

i’m really close. i said i would finish this album even if it took me 10 years, killed me, and was the worst album of all time. in contrast to that scenario things are looking ok
