finish my album

I have everything down and every have recorded rough demos of most of the songs for my album on my macbook. I go into the studio in like 2 months. I’m so psyched. I’ve put out a downloadable EP on my own, but the quality isn’t great… still it’s really considering that was completely down on my macbook using just the little mic that you use when you’re video chatting.

I have like an hour and a half of songs, and I feel like most of them suck. They all need to be mastered too. I also want to redo like 5 of them. I’m a perfectionist, and it’s hard to say something is finished when I hear all these flaws. Electronic music is tedious.

Yeah so this is taking forever but definitely worth it. All 11 songs are recorded. Now mix and master. Artwork is all finished. I also started another project since then that one will be out by the winter. It’s just a 6 song ep. Not bad.

MAY NEVER HAPPEN … BUT I’VE BEEN WORKING ON IT FOR YEARS, BUT HAVE HAD LESS AND LESS TIME FOR RECORDING … ONE DAY, JUST FOR MYSELF

Wow, I still haven’t really gotten any further. But I’m working on two other ones, so I’m very optimistic :P
And I MIGHT HAVE A FREAKING SHOW BEFORE CHRISTMAS! :D

Yay, I’m pretty close to finishing up my third song.
The 11 others are all written, but not perfectly worked out… so that will be my next task ^^

i’m really close. i said i would finish this album even if it took me 10 years, killed me, and was the worst album of all time. in contrast to that scenario things are looking ok

i decided that putting 8 songs on a CD and deciding it was my album would help me move on and start to write new stuff… and stop holding on to songs i wrote 4 years ago thinking i was going to re-work and re-record them. i’m glad i did. i’ve already made a few bucks selling it online!

I just have to order the copies. I’ve done ittttttt!

I’m so. Close. I have 2 more songs to record. It would probably go a lot faster if a.) I had a band and therefor didn’t have to track everything myself and b.) was less of a procrastinator.

I am using my own home studio, though, so that’s good; no recording costs.

Delone Avenue scheduled for release sometime before holiday 2007. Woohoo!
