after i’m done with college i’d like to spend some time, possibly a year, working in africa. i just want to immerse myself somewhere. botswana, ghana, somewhere. i want to completely embed myself somewhere and do something i feel is important for a year. work in urban development, maybe? at a clinic… work in public health. something. not necessarily in a volunteer program or an internship. but actually just work.

My sister lives and works in Ethiopia, ideally i’ll go out there in my gap year and work and live with her.
