I try to drink as much water as I can. People say to drink the tap water to save on plastic bottles. If the tap water was better quality here I would use it all the time. I have lived in worse places though. I try to drink a gallon a day but it can be hard. If I drink soda, I drink the same amount in water on top of the gallon. Same thing with anything that has caffeine. I don’t think that I can do much more so I am wondering if I should even have this goal…hmmm….

I’m going to try and consume more water starting this week. I used to drink about 75 ounces per day, which is healthy for my height/weight but got out of the groove of it.
Hmm…I need to find a water bottle. Preferably glass. I used to have a water bottle of some of this fancy water. I would take it to work, drink and refill it dutifully for a few days. Then a morning janitor would swipe it as trash =/
I joined this Thing wanting to get back on track with a New Years resolution of not drinking any more cokes. It hasn’t been as hard as it was when I first went cold turkey. Now I just need to work on getting more water in my system.

I am at the point that between trying to save money and getting in more water . . when I go out . . I don’t even get a beverage, I usually just stick to water w/ lemon. I am pretty conscious of drinking water vs. juice. I may drink one juice a day, but other than that it is tea, and that is not sooo often, but definitely water. . . I give myself another 2 weeks. Plus, since I am back to exercising and jogging/running regularly I deliberatly am hydrating in anticipation of my workout. All in all . . totally do-able!

doing a fast. Involved in this process would be drinking half of my weight in water . . . now that is a lot of water. Puts my little three bottles of water a day to shame.
HMM . .. . might need to ponder this a bit more. I know that drinking too much water can be a negative too and can actually kill you. Definitely need to do more research.

I tend to drink a lot of water in general. I was making a concerted effort to drink more way before the list. In fact . . . I actually opt for water on most occasions instead of juice. Or if I do indulge in other beverages, I always try for a 2 to 1 ratio. Two cups of water to one other beverage. Since that gets to be a lot to drink, it usually ends up being a one to one, but at least I get the water in. I am close to putting this on the done list, but don’t want to reward myself prematurely. I will keep you posted on the progress…3 bottles of Deer Park .5L will cover my 8 glasses for the day. I tend to average around 4 bottles, so that is putting me ahead.
crack….glub glub glub glub…bottle number 2 in progress

I am going to work out today, so I need to begin to hydrate my body. I am involved with the catering where I work and we have an event ending today. I am totally going to stock up on the Deer Park ASAP! There is no excuse for me not drinking water, there are always bottles everywhere!
