than it was.
This isn’t necessarily complete, I just don’t have the money or the inclination to shop lately, so I’m satisficing with what I’ve got.
At least until spring, ha!

I’m almost 12…. I need a wardrobe more graphic and cool. This christmas, I want nothing but gifts cards to forever 21 and other shops that i want to “grow onto.” Forget about little girl shops like limited too and claires. Im more mature than that ;0

Ha ha… Freedom!
Now it’s rainy. I need some rainboots. I only have my lovely high heeled brown leather boots, and I am not going to wear them in the rain!!!

wearing black pants every day. In an odd way though it has been good… I am realizing that I tend to wear colours that don’t suit me well.
For example, bright colours really catch my eye when I’m shopping. They suit my personality, but not my colouring. Apparently I am a “summer”, which means I’m kind of low-contrast: fair skin, light eyes, medium/light hair.
I have been buying lighter clothes in the past few months, and I feel more confident when I wear them. Interestingly I have also noticed that when I wear light pink, I get lots of attention from random men on the street. Not rude leering compliments, but winks and “hello”s and even “Hey beautiful”s. Crazy.

and also learning to shop better. I’m replacing everything slowly and making sure I only have what I truly love.

My body has been changing a lot, so this is sometimes a frustrating goal. I have made a lot of changes: gotten rid of many things, purchased new things, discovered my likes and dislikes.
I am no longer “dressing my perceived flaws.”
I have also been buying all new underpinnings. Mine were getting saggy, now that I have a little less of me filling them out. A nice, smooth first layer makes everything else fit better too.

I decided to try something new. Fake tan lotion.
The stuff I got doesn’t make me look very tanned, but it does at least take away the glare of my too white legs. So I am still pale, but not harshly pale. I am pleased about the results – a dark suntan wouldn’t suit me anyway.
And when I use this stuff, white clothes look better on me (versus the usual). That’s helpful on warm/hot days.
:-)
I just turned 18 and I don’t want to keep looking like a 16 year old. I want more feminine clothes, that still show my personality.

aren’t fit to be worn anymore.
I think I’ll replace them with fuchsia sandals. Those aren’t very easy to find, however.

I rarely seem to find shoes that feel “right” for my personality and personal style.
I suppose that’s because one of my more important criteria is that they be comfortable. And I’m 5’10”, so really high heels 3inches or more don’t do me any favours plus there’s the discomfort factor, but flats (such as ballerina flats) look kind of frumpy on me, as if I’m trying to appear less tall.
I do have some 4inch heel boots (booties, I guess they are), but I find they put far too much pressure on the balls of my feet, and the soles are too inflexible. I only wear them if I know exactly what will happen during a night out – if my boyfriend drives, and we go to a sit-down pub, no standing or walking required. Unfortunately, that means no impromptu midnight strolls on the beach or anything else that’s spontaneous when I wear those boots.
Pretty much the same thing for 3 inch heels, but I’m less strict about the circumstances and amount of standing.
Is it only me who has feeling in her feet? Maybe it’s because I’m generally big, and overall my feet take more weight than some small women who seem able to wear stilettos on a daily basis. I don’t get it.
The search goes on…
