I have seen the northern lights in Arvidsjaur in February.
It was very cold outside. The color was white. It moved slowly.
Everybody in Japan who knows I went to Sweden asks if I could see the northern lights. I think this is the best interest among Japanese people.

Definately worth doing... 3 years ago

I am Finnish, so I have grown up with northern lights. They are always worth seeing. I’m still filled with awe when I see them.
Then I moved to Stockholm, way down south from where I come from. And the northern lights are a rare visitor here. I have seen them only twice living here.

The first time was pure magic. I was walking in the city in the middle of the night with my great love – we just walked around and talked, talked, talked… We had come to the pier and stopped – to kiss and cuddle and talk some more, and were looking over the sea – when suddenly a short burst of green lights flashed over the sky.
No-one else saw them but us. There were no notes in the news, everyone we asked said that they hadn’t seen them at all… it was OUR private divine lightshow.

    So – definately worth seeing.

Northern lights are just as good all over the world, so choose the land you like.
