How I did it: At the recent 4th of July festivities there was a booth doing henna tattoos. I took a look at the book of designs and picked something fairly simple (although I loved some of the more complex designs, but they were busy) and got it done on my arm. The nice thing about henna is that it will fade after a month or so, so I'm not inked for life and can try it again someday. Read how I did it…
How I did it: It's funny I wanted to do this for the longest time, but didn't really have the opportunity, then I finally just gave up, and shortly thereafter, an opportunity just arose at a friend's baby shower. Just a little one, done by a friend, but it just happened on its own... it's funny how things happen when you just surrender and kind of go with the flow, instead of trying so hard to make things happen when you want, how you want... How I did it: While at a party with an international theme, I noticed some people getting henna done. I asked one of the hostess' of the party if I could get a peace sign done, "of course she said" so I got it done, and applied a bit of lemon juice after a while to help make it a little more permanent. LOVE IT. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I had a friend do it for me one day and it lasted a few weeks. I had both my hands and feet done for a photography assignment we were doing. I thought it looked awesome! Read how I did it…

How I did it: I went to the Renaissance Fair, and got two henna tattoos. The one on my leg was a maiden entertwined with ivy leaves while the one on the back of my neck/back was a celtic triquatra(charmed symbol). I loved the charmed symbol but was disappointed with the other. I felt it was too much money for how long it lasted which was 2 weeks. Read how I did it…

Henna tattoos are SO pretty. I’m sure I and Andrew can do them ourselves too.
Daniel said a while ago that he would like to do it with us, too.
Maybe I’ll look into buying some henna cones… :D
SarahBug no longer doubts the things she always knew
I bought some henna today! I’m pretty excited about it – I’ll prolly have Eric help me… CAN’T WAIT!
trypanophobicdoll is too ready to start her summer.
I actually used to draw henna tats at festivals with the coolest person and my inspiration, Lelah Wright. She moved up to Washington though so I fell out of practice but not before she did this piece of art on my back.
She even displays this photo on her site! www.dancingsilverdesigns.com
blair♥ smith is very sad and has to stop procrastinating
You can get them done at this mall by me and maybe even tomorrow i will go get one done!
Lightstroke knows how she feels :)
It looks like fun an quite an experience. I’m too indecisive for a tattoo and now’s not the right time to get my cartalidge pierced so this seemed like a nice alternative. I think I’ll drag one of my friends into it :P
there are always henna tattoos being done at the multicultural festival i go to every year. last summer, my lad and i both got “i love you” done in vietnamese. very cute. i’d still much rather get some real tattoos though :)
Cansu is getting back on track.
was a random goal to have some fun… And guess what, I was in Germany in June and I got it done! :)
It looks beautiful! I wish I had the same in real!
