I will be living within 15 minutes walking distance from the beach next year! :) How exciting!

I want to figure how to do this without living in some beach version of “Animal House” meets “Money Pit.”
I live in Estero, Florida which is southwest Florida.
Anybody know of someone looking to take care of their property, etc.

This WILL happen I just have to keep reminding myself so I dont get sidetracked.
When I lived in Huntington Beach, CA, one of the things I said was that you could only move closer to your beach or to a better beach. I took my own advice when I moved to Kauai – better beach. Then when I moved to Oahu too – better beach & far closer. Then I departed from my philosophy because of life – family, etc.
Someday, maybe not until I’m old & gray, I want to re-incorporate this philosophy. To a better beach…

I live near the beach,Not on it.Here, in my city you can’t live on the beach. Also it’s too dirty and crowded. So my plan is to find a beach in a more rural are. Prices will definitely be lower there and I can also have a clean, gorgeous view.
I came across this picture as I was searching for mountains next to a beach. I thought to myself…”I want to live there.” I’ve been took out of my element, which is the mountains in Tn to the grassy plains of SD. I do not like it here. I am not happy at all. I have my family….a wife, two children. I stay at home with the kids as she goes to work. I find it enjoyable…..but I’m just not happy here. I went to google and typed in how to live on the beach and then further searching brought me here. I have a list of things I want to do before I pass away. I’m 24 and have done some extraordinary things with my life as it is…but how do I get here?

How nice would it be to raise my children there? To sit out in the lawn chairs and not have to worry about any of those everyday things we worry about now. Like the bills, what time is it, where do I have to be at certain time, so forth and so on. Just enjoy the simlicity of life, sheer beauty of nature, and to live off the land as much as possible. Will it ever happen?
