YESTERDAY.....
I was stressed out. I wanted to strip away whatever I had on, be naked and feel free. Ahhh, but I couldn’t. Kids were doing homework and running around the apt. as usual. I decided to just get comfy. I took off all my clothes and examined myself in the mirror for a minute. Only thing I could think of was: Not bad, Not bad at all.
Thats got to be a good thing (:

Just one more thing to keep me from actually doing this. The fact that someone stole my camera last weekend! Now, I only have my camera phone, somehow that doesn’t appeal to me. I want professional yet natural looking pics! One day, one day….

I generally don’t enjoy the way I look in pictures, but I have never liked my pictures so much as the ones I had taken this weekend. Just a couple beautifully posed natural pictures w/ the sun shining on my body. Silly me…I almost cried (:

I have never forgot one of my favorite parts in Pulp Fiction. Where the girl loves pot bellies. I remember thinking…I wish I thought like that (: I have a love/hate relationship w/ my belly. Sometimes she’s just so damn cute, while other times I get mad at her, I really need to appreciate her more!!!
Fabienne: I was looking at myself in the mirror.
Butch: Uh-huh?
Fabienne: I wish I had a pot.
Butch: You were lookin’ in the mirror and you wish you had some pot?
Fabienne: A pot. A pot belly. Pot bellies are sexy.
Butch: Well you should be happy, ‘cause you do.
Fabienne: Shut up, Fatso! I don’t have a pot! I have a bit of a tummy, like Madonna when she did “Lucky Star,” it’s not the same thing.
Butch: I didn’t realize there was a difference between a tummy and a pot belly.
Fabienne: The difference is huge.
Butch: You want me to have a pot?
Fabienne: No. Pot bellies make a man look either oafish, or like a gorilla. But on a woman, a pot belly is very sexy. The rest of you is normal. Normal face, normal legs, normal hips, normal ass, but with a big, perfectly round pot belly. If I had one, I’d wear a tee-shirt two sizes too small to accentuate it.
Butch: You think guys would find that attractive?
Fabienne: I don’t give a damn what men find attractive. It’s unfortunate what we find pleasing to the touch and pleasing to the eye is seldom the same.

Now that I’ve started jogging, I’m really enjoying how my stomache is starting to look. Also, if I must say so myself, my “junk in the trunk” not too bad either! I just may start snapping away any day now!

The female form is frequently found adorning public buildings, squares, cathedrals, museums and parks around the world. Clark observes: “We remember that the nude is after all, the most serious of all subjects in art…” Auguste Rodin observed “The human body is first and foremost a mirror to the soul and its greatest beauty comes from that”. Similarly Walt Whitman offered: “If anything is sacred, the human body is sacred.

I’m starting to feel a little more comfortable looking at myself naked. I stare, I focus on what I love rather than what I’m not too crazy about. I’m not inlove with body yet..but believe me, losing a few pds. MAKES A DIFFERENCE. I am a very confident woman, yet I HATE how I look in pictures, I really really do..so if I can just learn to love how I look naked in pictures, I WIN!
