Eveyone says that i should be on it… and i really love to sing!!!
And i’m not like one those people on auditions that thinks they can sing but really can’t i actually have a really prety voice.
How to be on american idol
How I did it: Ok so I didn't make it as a contestant. But technically...I was on American Idol.
They featured me holding my sign in 2006, and my picture made it into TV Guide, USA Today, the New York Times, and AOL.com. Pretty sweet!
I strategized and used my artistic side to make a realistic drawing of Simon on my poster. Cut a hole out for my face and made it look like he had his arm around me. I guess it got some people's attention!
Lessons & tips: Try to stand out but don't be completely ridiculous. In my case, I was hopeful that my voice would help me get in, but when you're up against 15,000 people, you have to know that the odds are very slim, regardless of your talent.
So... be yourself but also try to find some way to help yourself stand out. Even if you're just getting on tv for something like your poster or your personality, you never know who might see it and want to talk to you.

I dont no if id win at the moment considering that i have a sore throat…...
YA THINK???????????????????????
I cant actually sing very well, but I would like to meet the judges especially Paula.
I was on American Idol on the Wednesday, May 17, 2006 episode. I saw Taylor Hicks when he came to Birmingham after he made the top 3. The American Idol cameras got me on film, and I was in one of the tighter crowd shots because I got there really, really early and I was toward the front. :D
This is one of the pictures I took (I have more).
I TOTALLY reccommend seeing a contestant in their homecoming if you just want to be on American Idol (as opposed to auditioning). I am very happy with accomplishing my goal because I got to see how the newspeople and camera people do their work, and I saw the American Idol before he was American Idol!!
I also plan to audition in a year or two (depends on how convenient the auditions happen to be), but that’s a whole different goal. XD
I am going to try out for American Idol when I turn eighteen, after I am finished with high school. Wish me luck!
