buy and wear more dresses

one more dress added to my collection…i really need some mroe..1st i need money. Hopefully i will be able to fulfill this better after christmas

People should wear more dresses…well more females than males..

This is a fun goal, and an appropriate one now that summer is approaching. In total I have three dresses: 1 very formal one that I hope I will get to wear at least once, one casual springy one that I bought for and wore to a wedding last summer, and one hip “night on the town” sort of dress that I bought for a dinner but never actually got to wear. So my goal is two-fold. The first part is to find an occasion to wear each of these dresses, and the second to find more dresses that I can wear on a regular basis.

For everyone else with this goal I have a question. Do skirts count?

Once I realized I was an anti-feminist, I thought I better look the part. I used to wear jeans and t-shirts all the time. Never sweats, but not much better looking really. I felt so frumpy, and not at all feminine.

Once I bought a few dresses, I was hooked, and bought more. Skirts count, by the way. I felt like an entirely different person, and I got treated that way too. People opened doors for me and commented on how I looked (they were always positive). My husband seemed to treat me differently too. He’s more, um, “interested” now.

I still wear jeans when it’s freezing out, but once it hits 60 degrees or so, I’m all skirts and dresses, every day, no matter what. I even work in the garden in a dress. Surprisingly, you can actually spade up and plant a whole garden in a white eyelet sundress without getting dirty! Who knew? I love it.

Because I’m thinking…if I simply buy and wear ONE dress, then I’ve completed this goal.

so i got this most gorgeous black fitted skirt with little while polka dots, from Faster Pussycat, near my home.

The spesh occasion I’m going to is the aria’s (oz record industry awards) – where guys can look hot in jeans, but girls don’t.

anyway, it’s a fun excuse to dress up and the skirt was well within a reasonable price range, and fits perfectly! so happy!

i’ve got an occasion coming up and need to wear a dress! or a skirt.. something nice and well, this occasion calls for heels!

i have been trying on clothes but nothing is working so far. so not happy, jan!!

i have about 2 new pieces this year. and i dont mind wearing clothes from the season before if they still fit and are in good working order and look decent.

but um, my clothes are looking a bit daggy. and i really need to wear some stylish clothes for my new job.
