Make a family Disaster Response plan

I am currently serving a year in AmeriCorps as a Red Cross Preparedness Volunteer. I hold presentations at civic groups on the topic. Rarely is anyone as prepared as we should be. I tell people to make a plan, build a “go” kit, and get trained, but I have not discussed this with my family, and that is probably the most important step in readiness, establishing step-by-step protocol as to communicating with loved ones and accountability too…
