Watch the AFI's top 100 movies

It took me a little time to get to where I am because I watched all six movies of the Star Wars Saga.

I watched them in order Episode 1 through 6 and it was a really interesting order since I hadn’t ever watched any of them before!

Who knew Darth Vader would return to save his son in the end. That is what Return of the Jedi is talking about right… well it is a double meaning… return of the jedi as in the entire population of jedi knights and as in the return of Darth Vader.

City Lights is great. I guess when you are reviewing movies that have already been noted as great for years it is hard to say anything else about them.

So I loved this movie too. It was really fun! I think though that I have heard the plot from the movie before. It must have been like an informational show on the AFI’s movies or something.

I wish they had a write up of why every movie was chosen. Like an understanding guide.

was one of the most beautiful movies I’ve ever seen. My favorite part is when he keeps saying he could have saved one more. This car would have bought 10 more and the pin would have given him 1 more.

I love him, and I think it is great that Speilberg did a movie to celebrate one of the great men in history during one of the most devastating times.

I loved Vertigo! It is definitely one of my new favorite movies. I love Alfred Hitchcock and the tangled webs he weaves.

Currently I have at my house Vertigo, Raging Bull, and Shindler’s List. I’m ready to get to work on watching them!

This movie was really long, and I had a hard time getting into the movie. It took me all day to watch it because I kept pausing.

I joined Blockbuster’s total access. I have the ones I haven’t seen from the top 30 on my queue. Then I will rent the newer movies I want to see from the stores. I couldn’t believe that I have seen so few (they are in bold).

I was just browsing around on the net when I happened upon the AFI website and I checked out the list of Top 100 movies of all time. They’re all such classic titles and famous movies and I’ve only seen a handful of them. I think that watching these films including such classics as “Casablanca” and “Gone With The Wind” might heighten my appreciation for films. My mother always said they don’t make them like they used to…so I guess I’ll have to see about that.
