I would love to help people find homes but am not a sales type of person. I have typically worked in human services but would love to have a more lucrative and sophisticated career. I am currently a part time Life Skills Coach and mother of two very young children. I want to start gaining the skills now so that when my children enter school I will be prepared to re enter the full time work force with skills and confidence.

My goal is to get this finished by the end of the year! I need to take 5 classes by the end of the year! I just signed up for my first class today, which I’ll be taking via home study. I keep my progress updated on this site.
Gave it up after 2 years because I couldn’t afford it. Gas back then (1987-89) was even cheaper, but clothes, sitters….I just love houses and architecture. IF you have another source of income that can support your efforts, go for it! If you have the ability to stick with it and work very hard, go for it! If you have people skills, selling skills too, but more intelligence about people and their needs…OR if you find a realtor that will let you work part time under them while you test the waters, good, good deal. Being a real estate agent is, or should be, a very respectable profession. I get upset by the fixed percentages; I’d rather work for a fixed fee or something. Best of luck! hmm…....creative juices flowing….....maybe it’s time to stick my toe back in the water…..
... but I don’t know why. I don’t need it. I just want it.
