Now that there are no more things to worry about, i could freely, open mindedly read my books again!
Yey!
My recent visit to local bookstores brought me 8 new books:
One for the Money x
Three to get Deadly x
Full House x
Full Tilt x
-Janet Evanovich’s: Which is totally addicting!!!! that I’d love to buy all 11 Stephanie Plum novels.
Gabriel Garcia marquez’ Love in Time of Cholera
David Sedaris’ Me Talk Pretty One day
AS Byatt- Little Black Book of Stories
The Cat who turned on and off
~which is by far the oldest book in my collection. it was published on 1986.
If I happen to finish this book within 2 weeks, I might buy the unbearable lightness of Being, chronicles of death fortold, Love in time of cholera.
i find the book too heavy- because there were too many names, and similar ones that is that is included in the lineage of ancestors. I just wish I could fully appreciate the book because I seem to be picking up a very short attention span these days when reading.
Chinese Cinderella
I needed to reread this because the first time i did read it, I was speed reading and was just grasping the big picture of the story.
The author’s other book seems to be more interesting because it gives light to the mystery behind the unwanted daughter story.
- I’m bound to buy Falling Leaves next by adeline yen mah.

The Zahir, I’m a few pages short of finishing it. I’ve got to hand it to you though that this is the longest time I’ve read a novel. I bought it this March and it’s june already and still I haven’t finished it. For this year’s summer, I’ve only read 2 books, and bought none.
It was just yesterday when I actually had the oppurtunity to buy new ones because there so many well commended books available in the bookstores.
