    Somewhere in Texas . . .  — 1 week ago

For inauguration day next year, my husband suggested that we hang a large banner on our house that says “Somewhere in Texas, a village has reclaimed its idiot.”

Hanging onto hope by a tendril is helping my mom pick up the pieces after her house fire.

A modified version of the former blue “Kerry / Edwards” campaign stickers. It’s teh same sticker, except it has som eextra text at the bottom:

    “Sounds good NOW, doesn’t it??”

Counting down  — 2 years ago

Surely someone, somwhere, has a blog that consists solely of a “countdown” clock for Bush’s remaining time in office. I don’t think it would cheer me, but seeing the time shrink might be hopeful.
