I’m going to go ahead and move this to the done category. My muscles are sore from working out, but pretty much any pain that I initially had is now gone.
Regular chiro treatments, heavy lifting and just plain old taking care of myself took care of this one.
Feeling awesome, but this is going to be a maintenance project too. If I don’t keep up with all the things that keep a person healthy then I’ll slip back right into where I was before.

the chiro usually works, but i have to remain vigilant about stretching, ice, and taking things easy during a flare-up…so far that has not been happening. I did go to my family dr who recommended xrays to find out if there is any structural damage. I’ll have to take things from here and see where I wind up.

hit up the chiro today. feelin much better. i’m trying to keep this thing going.
I failed to do any active relaxing yesterday because I was up late playing computer games.
It’s stupid because: I do actually enjoy it; and it only takes 10 minutes. 11 minutes if you count clearing a space on the floor and finding a book to prop up my head.
Actually, another reason I failed to do it last night was that there was no room on the floor because the washing was out. I should move it into the kitchen. And make more of an effort to keep my floor tidy from now on.
I can try out my new yoga mat this evening, too.
My lower back is painfully stiff. I’m going to sort it out by:
1. Trying to consciously relax for 10 minutes every night before I go to bed and whenever I feel myself tensing up. I want to be doing this most nights by the end of June.
2. Going to see the osteopath. (I went today, and he straightened out my pelvis for me and also worked on my feet and ankles.) I want to go every week until we feel I don’t need to any more.
3. Taking up yoga (that’s a whole other goal in itself!)
