Almost my whole life I’ve pretty much only been drinking sweet and sugary beverages, but I want to stop that and I’m going to drink a lot more water.

I seriously need to know whether a smoothie is considered a beverage. I mean it’s liquidy but it’s comprised of fruits and stuff.

I’m still being bad by drinking other beverages but am drinking a whole lot more water though. Just a few questions:
1. Does soup count as a beverage?
2. What about smoothies. You know the ones where they put a bit of juice in it?
I know they seem like dumb questions but was just wondering.
I’m really hoping I can to this. I’m going to drink only water for the next 2 weeks I’m hoping. I’m a pop addict, and drank 3 cans of coke alone today. I have no will power at all when it comes to sweet sugary beverages lol. I’m doing this to help live a better lifestyle and lose weight since half my recommended caloric intake is from liquids alone. And if i drink all the water I’m supposed to it will help curb my appetite since I won’t be munching just to munch as much lol.
I want to drink only water and nothing else. I did this once before for 2 weeks and felt great. I craved nothing but water and only water could quench my thirst. by the end of the two weeks, i felt better than i had in my life, no stomach aches and less hunger.
The first time i went back to coffee or pop I felt like I was literally drinking battery acid. I could just feel the poison (toxins) flowing through my body. I want to do this again and stick with it. I realize now the difference in how I will feel
I started on the 7th May and I haven’t stopped since. I went through severe withdrawal symptoms of caffein though.
Drinking water seems to get me out of bed at half 6 without making me feel tired, maybe it’s becuase I’m decaffeinated.
I haven’t had the 3pm slump since I’ve drank water either.

Seriously, this time I am stopping the whole alcohol thing. No more beers at the end of the day. I just have to deal with my shit work life and stop drowning my sorrows in beer. Just deal. Like I said for the past few weeks I’ve been just drinking water and occasional peach iced tea. This week it’s just been water and beer at the end of the day. Lets see what happens.

I’m really trying. At work that’s all I drink but then I have such a terrible time at the end of the day that I just go to my favourite place read and drink beer. I swear if I didn’t drink beer I’d be about 90% there. No actually more than 90% I just have to give up my moments of weakness when I want a peach ice tea. I GAVE UP SNAPPLE EVEN… I’m bloody trying but I don’t seem to be getting anywhere. I really believe that this goal will help with me doing my other goals(I really thought about this):
If I drank only water I’d stop drinking alcohol, lose some weight and maybe eventually stop smoking and then I’d feel so happy I’d smile in the mirror. I could even get so confident and love myself to quit my job and start a magazine or write a book and then… All because I drank only water. Ok maybe it’s a bit overambitious but I am going to do this. I have to. Keep whoever is reading this updated.
