moved house again, now I have a doorway that my bar fits in. so I restart this goal. I can do 10 pull ups from cold right now, I’ll try every two days to give my muscles time to recover fully.
How I did it:
Lessons & tips: Pullups are not all that.
Resources: Pull up bar from Value Villiage and a door frame.

I really want to do this too, I can do lots of push ups now and sit ups but I don’t seem to be able to pull myself up for very long. I’m going to buy one of those bars that fit onto a door frame I think…

I can’t use my pullup bar anymore as I’ve moved house and it won’t fit in any door way.

I know I can do about 5 in a row without stopping, but am trying to build up more muscle now, so I’ve nought a bar to go in the door frame and will start working on this goal now, will do pull ups every other day, sets of five at a time for two sets, then add one pull up every week.
I ride bmx and when i first tried doing them about in august i could do 16 at some army thing at the fair. Now i am able to do two sets of 25 then a 3rd set of 8. I use dumbells everyday before bed and do 100 crunches and my body is pretty much at its peak. Try doing skull crusher work outs and dumbbells and a curling bar thas how i have been able to do them and doing dips help out as well.
I really want to get to 25 pull ups. I can do 13 chin ups and 9 pull ups. But this isn’t my only goal so I’m not focusing all my training on it. Can anyone tell me out of experience how often you have to train pull ups to increase at say, 1 pull up a week? At the moment I only do one pull up session a week, one chest/gym session, rugby training and match, and cardio and leg weights session. Is one session a week enough?
Well, a few weeks back I made 13. & in a multi-set I made 17 (8/6/3). So progress is being made. Not much, but some.
Just bought a pull up bar. I’m 41 years old and can just about do 1 proper pull up. When I get back from Spain on Aug 28th I will start training for my goal of 25 by Christmas. I will do some every morning before breakfast and see how it goes.
im 16 and weigh about 130 lbs. I can do 5 pull-ups in a row right now[day one]. I really wanna build my ab section, my biceps, and my triceps but it’s hard for me to get to the gym, any suggestions? I know that the pull-ups should help my biceps..but anything else?
