Ride all the rides at the top of Stratosphere

I’m part way there…I managed to ride Insanity but due to lack of time we could only ride 1, so now I have to get the other done.

The trick to this is manage to catch them running because if it is even remotely windy they get shut down. My niece is coming for 8 days next month so maybe we can manage to knock this out while she is here. If not we are going to at least ride the coaster at NY NY.

I started the day off with the four rides at the top of the stratosphere. I rode the big shot first – wow that is thrilling! Then I rode the rollercoaster, after the big shot, not so thrilling. The 3rd ride that I went on was the Insanity, wow, that was really cool. I could really feel some G-Forces there, and the view from the side was great. It was pretty thrilling hanging off the side of the Stratosphere tower and to see just how high up I was. I finally rode the X-Scream, pretty cool, but not as cool as the big shot and Insanity. Then I rode the big shot again :).

After the stratosphere, I also rode speed at Sahara. It is an extremely fast coaster, but also very quick (70mph) it is over in 45 seconds. It speeds to 70 mph in 4 seconds goes up to a tower and then goes back to the start backwards. Definitly something to try.

I ended the coaster tour with the Manhatten express at New York New York. A cool coaster with a lot of twists turns and loops, don’t keep any change in your pockets. The ride is a little hurky jerky, but worth the ride.

I missed the coaster at Circus Circus that day, but I have ridden it before, just forgot about it on that day.

I will need to do the roller coaster tour again and remember to get the Canyon Blaster in too.
