The other day, but overcame it.
How I did it: I stopped buying them, and I switched to drinking green tea. I feel a lot better during the week, and I don't get dehydrated with the awful migraines after. But I am allowing myself an occasional drink. Maybe once a week.
Lessons & tips: Dry tapering off your caffeine consumption till you can feel fine just drinking tea.

Hi, my name is Edgar and I’m an addict!
This is a new year resolution.

i think i’m on day 2 going on 3.
I’ve been supplementing myself with hot tea in substitute of my usual energy drink. it doesn’t give me quite the boost i’m used to, but i’m sure it’s a lot better for me. i take an extra 5 min in the morning (which was the time it would have taken me to stop at the gas station), so it hasn’t really interrupted my routine.
I’m going to mark this off as accomplished on my 30 day mark.

i’m an energy drink person, don’t ask me why, i drink one everyday
these are pretty expensive at $14 a week. (2/day)
it pretty much gets me through my day. i’ve gone days without and they are pretty miserable. i want to quit drinking caffeine because i feel such a dependence on it and right now i’m trying to ride myself of those types of dependencies.
M And life goes on
They make me feel like crap. Theres nothing good about them excpet it keeps me awake long enough to get though school. I’m limiting myself to one a week, for right now, for the day after I stayed up till two am talking to jeff
I fell off the wagon. I have a horrible work schedule, which I hope changes soon. In the meanwhile, back to the drawing board.
without them. And I’ve saved approximately $112 (by my figures) just by not drinking them anymore.
I think I can count this as completed. Woo hoo!
energy drink butt. Not a drop in over 4 days. I was tempted today, but resisted. See…men do have will power. LOL
behind me and I’m about to have a coffee. So take that, energy drink companies!!!
that when I am away from home next week that I can do without. If I can start the day with one cup of coffee that should suffice my need for caffeine. I really need to drop the energy drink kick. Red Bull, Rock Star, Jimi Hendrix, NOS, all must stop. Besides, I’ll pay far less for a bit of coffee than for these over-priced drinks.
