Since I’ve been writing a weekly column for over 2.5 years now, I think I can put this on the “have done” list.
People doing this are also doing these things:
Entries
I found a nice little suprise on my outlook to-do list…I’m to revisit my list of reasons why I love my column so much. It’s probably the first list I made in the journal with the pink plastic cover.
I’ll reread and write another entry in here later on today.
This is remains one of the brighgt spots in my life. I write frequently in my journal about how important this writing is to me.
Wow…just a few days later I’m not gushing about how much I love my column. Not that I don’t love it, not that I don’t want to do it, it’s just that I’m not gushing about it today.
What am I enthusiastic about today? Hmmmmm….when I woke up I look forward to visiting Black Planet to see if I have any notes.
This morning since I didn’t have to get the children ready for school, I wrote in my journal first thing…and I listed 13 things I love about my column. And I have to read it every so often to make sure I stay grounded.
It’s hard to think optimistically at 9:30 pm tho…Not that I don’t love my column still
Today I’m going to work a little on an article about time managemnt, but not techniques like check your email a few times a day and filing tips. Instead I’m going to talk about the importance of focus, subtracting things from your life and not getting caught up in time wasting disputes.
I’m not inspired to write this story tho, I’m going to go through my list of ideas to see if something else really grabs me.
Today I posted my 50th column. Perhaps I need to change this goal to “make money writing a column.” I’ve been writing my self-help column for over two years. And I love every minute of it.
Today, I’m going to type in and article I wrote on the bus on the way back from West Chester. This is the kind of writing that comes naturally to me. I’m glad I put it first on my list.
