play tetris

Play it on Facebook. I know I’ve got better at it the more I play it, but it’s pretty hard and I can’t get a really high score. It is fun though, but it can get addictive. 3 years ago

I finally had to remove this game entirely from my computer in order to get any work done and reduce my chances of developing an RSI. I didn’t seem capable of playing “just one game.” I eventually decided that for me these games are the equivalent of crack.

At least online Scrabble is good exercise for the brain cells.

P.S. I still play way too much FreeCell on my home computer. 4 years ago

When my boys were younger we spent many hours playing this game with them, both on the computer and then later on the TV. (One year for Christmas we got this video game system which let you play all sorts of “classic” arcade games on the TV). Tetris was one of the few games where us old farts actually had a chance of occasionally beating the kids. My DH calls this game his “bonding tool” as he used his play time with the boys to get them comfy with him and we were dating. (He is SUCH a great step-dad!)

I first played it years ago in DOS and later on in Windows. In high school it was passed around on our TI-83 Graphing Calculators. Now I have Tetris on my PDA but its been ages since I used it but I’ll leave it on for the time as I still have 9MB free which is more space than I’ll ever need with my current setup. 4 years ago
