I’m thinking this list might need some sub-categories. It’s far too random for my Virgo sensibilities. 6 years ago
I just discovered bookcrossing.com. This is one of the coolest ideas ever! I can’t wait to put some of my favorite books out there and see if anyone finds them. I already looked over my bookshelf to see what needs to be “set free.” It might be a little hard for me since I’m an avid re-reader, but I need to stop reading old favorites and find some new books anyway. 6 years ago
I need to clarify this goal. There are already enough book lists available for classics, bestsellers, etc. What I want is to list my personal favorites and some of the more obscure books I’ve really enjoyed over the years. A few off the top of my head are “Earth Abides,” “The Girl with the Silver Eyes,” and the “Belgariad” series. I think what I’ll do first is to list all the books that had an impact on me when I was younger. It’s been a while so I might have a hard time remembering them. My daughter is going into second grade and is already a voracious reader. I would love to hear from anyone who knows a good book for a 7 year old girl. 6 years ago
