How I did it: I went adopted my dog from a nearby Pug Rescue. It took me about 2 months to have the paperwork done, etc. I stayed determined to have the pug accepted by my apartmet's landlord.
Lessons & tips: Stay determined.!

We may or may not ever get a dog. I still like pugs, but may not own one. With our cats, we definitely won’t be getting a dog while we still have them. They’re only 4 so should be around for a while.
My mom got me a dog, which I figured was getting a dog…..His name is Mushu and he is a pug. YAY!
I’ve wanted to get a Pug for years, preferably from a rescue organization. I’m all for responsible pet ownership, so I’m waiting until I can set up a nice life for a little Puggie guy or gal.
I had a pug, and I truly miss her! These dogs have the most unique personalities of any other breed I’ve seen. They are much closer to cats and even children when it comes to personalities and each one is SO unique!
Its worth it to get one. They adapt to any lifestyle and provide endless hours of entertainment and are so loving. The males of the breed are more loving and the females are more independent, but no matter what, they are truly awesome.
I want another one. =)
