I too bought the game and played it. I started when i was in college in Santa Barbara and even though it cost a lot of money I was able to get my friends to buy pizza and pop when we played. We had been buying it anyway on fridays for our investment club. Usually we spent about $21 between the three of us.
After 30 weeks of playing this way I broke even (about) and turned it from a doodad into an asset.
