travel to London by myself

I have made it home! My flight was delayed a few hours but I made it back into Chicago Ohare airport. They let me back in the country. (Thanks Simon… for not mentioning anything about Buckingham Palace) I saw the most fabulous things I thought I would never have ever seen. I need to thank Simon for greeting me at the airport and helping me get acclimated the first few hours I was there. That helped me a lot. Then we were able to meet up on Sunday, along with Ms. Evenstar. I have to say I too, I had a wonderful time and was sad that it had to end…
Now I am home, I just downloaded 400 some pictures. Not all of them I will be able to share, cause you know what happens at Buckingham Palace stays there. I am glad the Queen was home to enjoy our visit too ;)

In the middle of my trip and I just couldn’t stay away from the computer!! Well its the only way I am communicating with home. So I found an internet cafe around the corner of my hotel. I have been loads of places and seen all these amazing things. I will elaborate when I get home. Sometimes the information is so overwhelming for a girl from the midwest who really hasn’t left the area. Oh well, I have loads of pictures to share.

Only 5 hours till I leave for the airport. 9 hours till the flight is to take off and I will be on it!! My suit case is almost packed, just a few last minute items to add.
YAY!!

Ok, I have been really nervous the last few days, but excited in the same breathe.
I was talking to a friend and she called me very gutsy and that she is impressed that I am going. I told her I didn’t know if its gutsy or just plain foolishness. She had told me she didn’t think it’s foolishness at all. Just a great adventure. I agreed with her, I am sure it will be one of the most memorable times in my life. But its just getting to Tuesday and stepping on the big airplane. She reminded me that she admires me for going it on my own and doing what I want. I told her I am looking at it as a part of the beginning of second half of my life.

and needs to be out and celebrated as it should have been long before. I will be seeing the places I have always wanted to see and meet new people along the way!!
