I remember going to a potluck dinner once in College. It was part of some “new school” approach to education where the faculty and students would gather as “equals” to partake in a communal feast that everyone contributed to. I brought two full-size roasted bbq chickens and 2 bottles of pop. They (all three of the other students that actually brought something) brought a bag of pita bread and a small can of bean dip.
The dinner lasted 15 minutes as the assholes blitzkreiged the table, devoured the chickens, drank the pop, swallowed the pita and dip, grabbed their bags and promptly fucked off without a thankyee or a nod.
That’s when I realized I hated the entire human race…
