I am happy to report that I am no longer obese!! I checked my BMI (body mass index) the other day and saw I am now at a weight that makes me ‘merely’ overweight. Yay!! Now my BMI is 29.4 Being obese was really hurting my soul. Now to press onward to a normal, healthy BMI! You can check yours here: http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmi/ 10 months ago
Currently, my BMI is at 31.6. According to MyFitnessPal, that is still in the Obese range. (ugh!) I need to lose 11 more pounds to reach a BMI of 30.0, which is considered overweight. 11 months ago
Ideally I would want to have a BMI of 18.5 for various reasons. I know I’m pudgy around my midsection and lately I’ve been leading a sedentary lifestyle. I want to lose weight/fat. Also, I used to be a cheerleader and if I weigh less, I would be a more desirable flier if I decide to somehow get back into it. Might be difficult considering competitive college cheer-leading is something that a person would excel in if they had extensive gymnastic capabilities and experience.
According to the CDC.GOV website, my Body Mass Index (BMI) is currently 20.4. This means that I’m in the 33rd percentile which is like, a little under what I like to think is the halfway mark. 16 months ago
I started dedicating myself to 3 – 4 workouts a week, plus riding my bike to work (30 min. there and back) each possible day (excluding rainy days, and days when I had client presentation or after work functions). I also cut many carbs and red meat out of my diet. Lots of fruits and vegetables (50 – 75% of the meal). Dinners we’re always just Protein and Vegetables. 23 months ago
