Learn to fly a glider

I flew with a glider five years ago when I was too young to get a license and didn’t have the money.
Well, I’m still a poor student, but there’s a local club that offers training at a reasonable price. Maybe I’ll go there for a flight on Saturday and ask for more information ;-)

Well I did it. I took glider plane lessons for a day with my husband. ANd i got airsick :P But otherwise i loved being up there and it was so quiet and beautiful

i was helping clear out my grandad’s house, with my dad. and i found a huge box full of text-books on how to fly a glider, with hand-written information and phone-numbers etc. i asked whose they were and it turns out my uncle (or aunt’s husband-i’m not sure) died in a glider a few years ago. so, although i still want to do this, understandably my family isn’t so keen on the idea. hummm. i might take this off my list, i’ll have to see…

You HAVE to do this. it is amazing. Technically I am still learning to fly a glider…but i think that counts! JUST DO IT!
