RP is in Reno for the night and arrives back in SF tomorrow.
I think that I survived this week, but I am going to keep this up until I am more sure that I have survived next week also.
However, class went reasonably well today, as did my slew of stressful meetings of the past few days.
K. is in Newport and, while I do miss him, it is perhaps just as well at the moment. He’ll be home Sunday anyway.

perhaps I should have said survive next week. Or this week and next week. Oog.
If I can just get through the next three classes, this move and this conference paper I’ll feel a little better. There will be plenty more stuff on the other end, but not quite so clumped together.

Preparations for prom night, prom night,
the largest decoration all year
and driving to Nuremberg were the tasks of this week.. And I survived! :)
I also broke up with my girlfriend after 10 months and got together with another girl after the prom..

Des is slowly regaining her sanity (unfortunately?)
...and I have another terribly busy week coming up. This morning I woke up with a scratchy, sore throat! I can’t be sick this week – I have a major responsibility and there’s no one to take over. I’m a little worried.

I think I did a good job…but it’s one of those thankless jobs. I had three students go to the hospital for various reasons…had to call the ambulance for one of them. Seems he tore a rib muscle which then became inflamed and caused extreme pain when he breathed…scared us good. I took muster every day…I even went out to the FTX site, which was fun. Here is a picture of some of my students doing a gesture drawing.

When my boss said he was leaving me in charge for three weeks. I never thought I would miss him…but I do.
30 Instructors
150 Students
