How I did it: It took a lot of patience not to pick at them or to keep them short and neat since my nails tend to peel and look crappy. I kept them painted and used a calcium hardener to help them out. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I stopped biting my nails and started putting on clear nail polish so I could bite or peel that off instead (I'm a figgiter I guess) it took all my nails about 2 months to grow to a nice length almost evenly without breaking and I clipped them to keep them nice. How I did it: I hated showing my fingers and my new years resolution(2008 lol) was to grow my nails. So i started growing them from October and i kept my word and now it's January 2009 and my nails are long! I just polished them and when they were about normal length (not bitten to extreme :P ) I bought a few nice nail polishes and tried some simple nail art. OK, so. I started a few days ago. I CAN SEE A BIT OF WHITE! i have decided if i need to bite, the thumbs will be the ones! i had to bite my ring fingernail off, it was catching on things :( I think that I will paint them tonite :)

they’re pretty long already! i’d say about…5 or 6 cm of white, but i just want them a liiittttle more longer. maybe 2 cm!

This is just something I feel like doing. I never ever grow them out; I would trim them whenever even the slightest bit of white shows. It feels like they can get in the way so I don’t know how long I’ll go!
