save 10% of my paychecks

I’ve definately been transferring 10% from every paycheck to savings, not all of it stays there, though. I’m doing pretty well with it, however, and see the balance rising rather than dipping down to nothing every month.

I need to be extremely dilligent with this from now on, as my husband and I will be working exclusively freelance starting the first week of April and there will be taxes to be paid at the end of the year. YIKES!

I get paid tomorrow/today (Friday). Let’s see if I’m actually able to do this this check. I sure hope so, but we’ll have to see. Gotta pay bills and all that crap first.

I deposited my paychecks today and transferred 10% to my savings. Yaaay me!

Then I needed money to pay rent and bills and groceries… and.. well.. out came the savings and I stopped pulling it from my checks. Must start again. I get paid today, so now’s a good time to begin!

and as soon as it clears (hopefully tomorrow), I’ll be transferring that 10% over to savings. I’d be more proud of it if I hadn’t transferred all but $40 back into checking this week.

I need to work harder on not taking it out again!
