Digitelle is unmoored in a sea of potential is studying
I am leaving next Thursday, so long crowded subways, noisy, congested streets, expensive rents and muggy summers.
Digitelle is unmoored in a sea of potential is studying
This is a long long project. I don’t really want to move without a plan. I am considering ditching the entertainment industry entirely and getting into medicine. Soon I will begin working as an EMT, and while transport will suck, working in the ER seemed like an excellent career choice. I might decide to move back to the bay and get my pre-med, probably crashing with my parents for the year, then apply to med school. Or move out to Portland and hope that I get into OHSU. There is still FDNY, SFFD, and PF&R to consider as well, if the firefighting thing still calls to me in a year that is.
Anyway to get to the point, September 2007 is not going to happen, it will definitely be after December 2007 that I move back West.

It is a big step, and one I have been wanting to do for a while, but didn’t know how to do. I have to start with quitting my job. There is the fair and good way to do it – which is wait until May 10. Then there is the dirty mean way, which is quit any other time up until then.
There are a few other issues at stake too. 1 – the roller derby, 2 – my friend Charlotte’s film, and 3 – I want to spend a few months on sets before I move, just to make sure whether that is still what I want to do. Basically to help decide if I move to LA or Seattle. All of these issues will just be solved with time.
Looking at it realisitically, I won’t be leaving NYC till June 2007 at the soonest, september 2007 at the latest. But that is still pretty good.
