This is one of my favorite games. My husband and I go through homebody stretches of scrabble and tea every night.

Kate says she loves to play, so there may be a game in the not too distant future.

It was good. 22 months ago

Well I love writing to start off, so I am pretty much good with words and so this came out pretty easy. If you want to get good long seven lettered words, you should try and make words right on your wooden stick. Lawls. It is better if you play with just Scrabble before you move on to Scrabble deluxe, although technically they’re the same.

Really?
None of you have played scrabble?

You can get lots of practice online for free through the Internet Scrabble Club: http://www.isc.ro/. They have a program called wordbiz (available for windows, mac and linux) that connects you to other players and assigns you a rating based on your performance.

Wordbiz uses the official scrabble dictionaries (SOWPODS for UK and other English speaking countries except for the US, Canada, Thailand and Israel which use TWL) and the quickest way to improve your scores is to learn the allowed two letter words for whatever dictionary you play with. This lets you score big with a single awkward letter and gives you more places to get your seven letter words down.

I’m off to play now :)
