I have few jewelry kits and it really encourages me to just sit down and make something. I have already made two bracelets, two rings, a hair pin, and two earrings. I feel like I have learned a lot and I will continue to make more! I hope practice makes perfect but I may invest in class just to help perfect techniques. 3 months ago
I bought some supplies but I’m still timid about making jewelry. I have kits that are really easy and fun. I made one that I use as a lanyard at my job which I’m pretty proud of crafting. My friend likes the ring I made but I’m still not happy with the results. I am looking into taking a class nearby. 4 months ago
I do this..and sometimes too much, but having this hobby is delightful 9 months ago
How I did it: I enrolled for a Beginning Metalsmithing and Jewelry class at my local university. At first I was very confused and intimidated, but I eventually got the hang of it. I have since made some nice jewelry, and I'll be back for another semester! Read how I did it… 12 months ago
In order to accomplish this goal, I’ve signed up for a Metalsmithing and Jewelry class at the university. I’m currently still learning, but I’m in the middle of making a fold form bracelet. I’ve attempted to make a copper and silver ring, but it was less than successful. I also bought some bone to hopefully incorporate into my work. 14 months ago
I’ve made a few things. I need a heavier grade wire bc my flimsy one is too bendy for some things. 14 months ago
...even though I am still making jewelry. I even sold $1500 worth last week. I just feel that I’ve completed the goal. 19 months ago
I want to go through all my jewelry and turn everything I don’t wear into something I do. I’m also inspired by a lot of the DIY stuff I see on blogs. Some of it is really simple and nice. 2 years ago
