How can you tell if old jewelry is worth something?

Grammy and I have been taking apart old jewelry to make new jewelry but have put aside several things uncertain as to whether the old jewelry is worth something.

Any ideas as to who to direct this question to?

I made a few earrings and plan to keep tweaking my skills.

I have been making my own jewelry for years now and I now want to make it on a wide scale and sell it.

YAY! I just made a beautiful silver angel wing necklace with parts from old necklaces and some earrings i bought on clearance. Iooks similar to one i saw for $45 (i added a cross to the links) it only cost me 99 cents for the earrings!

I bought some thread on the 30th, now I just need to begin snipping away!

I’m thinking I should also make this a photography project.

I made some pieces like bracelets and neckalaces. It was an easy and fun learnig experience. It’s only worth it if you get gems or pieces that will look great. Otherwise, your pieces will turn out looking chenzy and cheap.

I made a few things, but really homemade looking. i will post pictures sometime and i have a few things to finish off. but i wanted to cross this off so i have space for stuff and also this is my sister’s thing really. she makes beautiful jewelry she wants to sell. i can post photos of hers as well. laters.

I took an art class and learned how to, it’s not difficult but it is tricky, you have to be crafty and patient, and also be able to move your fingers in very miniscule ways, as to actually connect it all. but once it’s done you feel accomplished, and when someone ask’s where did you get that, it’s satisfying saying, I made it!!

I made this beautiful blue stone bead bracelet. What I love is that it was very easy to do, and love the push button clasp to hold it together. I am a beading machine, LOL
