I used to have very long hair that went passed my waist but sometime during my junior and senior years I gradually started to cut the length. Now I’m trying to get it back. So now I’m slowly letting my hair grow whiling trimming a half an inch every 5-6 inches. Which I didn’t do when I had my long hair.

How I did it: I used to have almost shaved hair, and decided to let it grow - for 4 years, without cutting it. The intermediate phase was the real problem, but after it got down to shoulder lenght I startet to really enjoy it. But a year later I decided for a more pratical look ;) Read how I did it…

How I did it: It took forever to grow my hair out, but I love the natural curl that has come with long hair. Everyone gives me so many compliments, and I love it because it feels so feminine. I've had short hair since age 14, so the change is great. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I've always had hair past my shoulders, but it never really wanted to grow more than maybe 3 or 4 inches past them. After that it always got straggly and thin at the bottom and to me, having the last few inches of your hair only a few strands thick is NOT having long hair. I was never really that rough on my hair, but I never really paid attention either. I cut the ends only once every 2 years or so, washed every 2 days and air dried only… Read how I did it…

I’m playing with it right now :P. I can make a decent tail and it will be a matter of … a month, before including all of my hair in the tail as well. When wet, it goes down til my shoulders. I kinda like it. Can’t wait to have loooong.
I’ve always dreamed of having cute wavy long hair.. but tooo bad im born a boy, imma leave it growing soon as a change into a girl

I want to have long hair, hair at least past my shoulders. My whole life I had a boy hair cut because my hair didn’t grow, and then in high school it was always chin length then I started dying it… big mistake. Now my hair is almost to my shoulders but it is so split ended and frizzy and dry and disgusting that it just doesn’t grow. And I can’t leave it down because my hair is so terrifying ugly that I feel like everyone is looking at my judging my unhealthy hair. I constantly keep it up in a pony tail because it keeps me care-free throughout the day I don’t have a problem because I’m still a cute girl, but I just want to be able to let my hair down, and I wish it were long and healthy. I fear there isn’t really anything I can do to make my hair grow faster, maybe if I let the universe know how bad I want it, my wish will be granted.
Meanwhile I am going to deny myself the right to dye my hair this winter at all. I am going to feel so ugly because my roots are like poop brown and I am so used to being platinum blonde. I am going to have a very bad self image of myself throughout this process but the end result is something I’ve wanted my whole life and it is worth a year—or two of hating my appearance as I wait for my hair to grow. I really don’t know any other ways of making it grow, I do take vitamins and Biotin but it doesn’t seem to help dramatically.
I’ve also tried bogus scams like shampoos that make your roots grow faster but nothing works and I am sick of obsessing over my hair. I just want long, natural hair that I don’t have to worry about!

... today but don’t freak out!, was just a “maintenance” kind of hair cut.
I’ve been working with Herbalife for about a month and tonight we’ve got this quite important dinner at this elegant restaurant (I’m not a fan of these things but well, it wont kill me either, ha ha) and I thought that a suit didn’t match with the baseball caps that I’ve been using so far.
At Herbalife I’ve got some cute girls as new mates. One of them have a hairdresser. So, this morning I went there and … puff, she seemed fighting against a beast (my hair), she used a bunch of tools and the result was awesome (and pretty cheap too, ha ha)
Lately I’ve learned that no matter if one is a man, there are some things that one should know, about the hair, the skin and other things … usually considered as women stuff. Well, better finding something late than never.
I get paid to have long hair! im a hair model. my hair is 38 inches long and getting just past my butt! THe key to having HEALTHY long hair that doesnt look damaged and thin at the ends is this! DO NOT wash your hair every day. Only wash it when it NEEDS to be. Treat your hair like an expensive cashmeire sweater and dont ring it out, dont yank on it when brushing and try to brush it only after it dries and dont blow dry. Also, use shampoo on your SCALP not on the rest, when u rinse it will clen the rest of the hair, only put conditioner on what you can fit in a ponytail, not on your scalp. Hope this helps. People ask me ALL the time so pass it on and happy long hair to all!

I think the worst part already happened. Now I have a short pony tail in the back which gathers up the hair that would go down til my neck and within few months I should be able to include the side hair. The front one is still a bit annoying but a hat keeps it in its place.

That is, half of it is long (reaching my right shoulder blade), the other half is about 2”.
I used to have something like half a mohawk, that is, half of my hair clipped to a length of just a few millimeters on one side. Now it’s growing out and it started looking like an accident or something. So I cut myself a fringe and dyed the section above my left ear blond. It’s a highly individual hair cut and I look stylish without making much of an effort.
However, I’m starting to see more and more hipsters with similar hair cuts to mine and I’m getting slightly bored of it.
What I am doing now is growing out the left side. I guess once it’s reached chin length I will do something to it, trim it, or maybe get a perm all over my head.
My goal is to have hair that reaches my elbows. The right side will be there in about a year. I don’t know if I should trim it to even it out with the left side, or leave it to see how long my hair can get.
The coolest thing about this hair cut is that it is constantly developing. It’s like having both long and short hair at the same time, but it is also something else. I quite like this hair cut actually, because I can never decide what I want. This way I can have everything.
