so I lost my cell phone cause I was careless and now that I have a $200 one I gotta be hella careful. Also it’s gross having an ant crawl on your face.

Well, I cleaned one of my flower beds right by my house – only four more left to do….but I also was cleaning my bedroom this weekend… I didn’t realize how many flyers I had in my room. I’ve taken a lot of stuff out of my room and will continue to do so. Back is still bothering me so today I’m just doing laundry. One step at a time. Although I have put things in my outlook, I must admit this last week I haven’t kept up due to critical deadlines at work…everything in this last week fell apart, but hopefully this week I will put it all back together again.
I have had to be careful of what I do because I injured one of my fingers pretty badly on a computer at work. It’s over a week and my finger looks like it just got the gouge yesterday. But these things heal.
Despite my back strain, I was able to mow a good chunk of my lawn. I need to finish it today. I’d like to do a flower bed each weekend until it gets to cold to do so – but we’ll see what happens…
I need to sign up to fly lady again…
I used to be a workaholic. I also used to be a member of Flyladies.org – their motto is babysteps.
Something recently changed and I’m home starting to work on being less messy.
I’ve bought more containers and am organizing things. I’m trying to keep on top of the house and yard work. The one huge thing I’m finding is if I have a container for it that’s big enough, things keep organized and it gets neater.
In the last few weeks I’ve been organizing like crazy. I’m starting to see the difference because as a workaholic, you work until you drop and have no time for yourself. Now I am having some of my energy for not being so messy.
Also, Feng Shui is very good about telling you lots of benefit to being a neat freak. It’s also supposed to benefit your life in many ways.
Trying to keep that positive spin on it.
I’ve sorted through everything I own and gotten rid of a ton in hopes that less stuff = less mess for the coming school year. And Mom has been awesome and bought me some bins, shelves, folders, and general storage goodies to go back to school with. Hopefully they’ll make dorm life a little more organized…. hopefully.
I’m really making progress by using the Flylady.net system. Anyone struggling with messiness should give her a try.
I have been working on this for what is now already a few weeks. I have got to get more productive.
Moving back into a dorm room next school year, so this goal has become more of a necessity than just something that would be nice… MUST BE COMLETED NOW…
Scrubbed my kitchen from top to bottom and even sorted through the clothes in my closet, have a whole stack to give away – less stuff = less mess _
Its just really nice to not have a TON of crap everywhere and to see my place neat and organized.
