Attend the AYE Conference 2005

I loved my week at AYE. I feel it was more of a trainign course than a conference. By that I mean I don’t know if I would go back for more, but I really enjoyed what I had.

Was scheduled to attend in 2004, but work took me on a six-month trip to Sydney, Australia instead (worth doing!).

So I’m going this year. I quit ThoughtWorks and am now self-employed so having to pay for it myself (both the cost of the attendance and the cost of time away from work).

I’m really looking forward to it. Hope to see you all there.

The Amplifying Your Effectiveness (AYE) Conference is a no-vendor, hands-on, people issues in technology conference, designed by a group of Jerry Weinberg’s seminar students who felt that most conferences suck. His challenge was to design a conference that didn’t, and out of that came AYE.
